Stones on the Water earring

I remember going to a favorite beach in Door County, Wisconsin with my children, and how they delighted in piling rocks into formations that we would leave on the beach... how my children felt that they were leaving a piece of themselves for others to enjoy. This earring is an interpretation of those piled rocks, largest to smallest in a tiny tower.

Peridot: the gem that frees the mind of envious thoughts, and protects the wearer from the evil eye. It brings good cheer, attracting love and joy. In ancient Egypt, priests would crush peridot and add it to wine for healing. Said to calm nerves, the stone is legendary for uplifting the wearer, staving off sorrow.
